CHAHANA KANSARA

Sr. Content Writer & Strategist Web Project Manager

I write the words, build the structure they live in, and run the project that gets them online. Twelve chapters below: how I got here, who I do it for, and the websites I have carried from a first brief to a live launch.

About Me

I started my career writing words and somehow ended up managing the people, projects and websites behind them. 6+ years in IT & advertising later, I’ve gone from content writer to strategist, web project manager & client servicing as well. I’ve written blogs, built content strategies, mapped websites, run projects, made pitch decks and managed enough client feedback to know that “just one small change” rarely means one. Most of my work lives somewhere between a good idea and getting that idea actually shipped for both domestic and international markets. I like making complicated things clearer, chaotic projects calmer and briefs considerably less terrifying.

Today, I work across content, digital strategy, web and client management, while keeping one eye on the bigger picture and the other on whatever deadline is currently on fire.

Still writing, the only part that has been constant.

  1. then

    Words

Started with content. Learned to make words work.

  2. next

    Structure

Moved into websites, sitemaps and strategy. Things got complicated. Naturally, I stayed.

  3. now

    Ownership

Today, I manage clients, teams, websites and deadlines. Mostly in that order.

Long-form built around the questions people actually type. Researched, structured for search, written for a human in a hurry.

Articles

Point-of-view pieces that give a brand something to be known for beyond its service list.

Find the real problem

Briefs are rarely the whole story. I dig for the actual opportunity.

Build the thinking

Insight → strategy → idea → a pitch that holds together.

Sell the thinking

A sharp story, a sharper deck, and a reason to believe in the idea.
